Short boarfish

The short boarfish is endemic to Western Australia. It has a protruding snout and thick lips, and there’s not much information out there about this guy. Other types of boarfish have elongated bodies, and I think that’s why this one’s called “short” (despite its long fins).

Either way, we can all agree it looks like a boar:

So, boarfish are sea creatures named after their terrestrial look-alikes (yes, just like sea hares).
