Potter’s angelfish

potters angelfish

The Potter’s angelfish, Centropyge potteri, is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. It’s named in honor of Frederick A. Potter, the first director of the Waikiki Aquarium. Apparently it’s the most common angelfish seen in Hawaii.

While searching this one up, I found that there’s an ENTIRE website dedicated to Hawaiian sea hares! …gotta go.
