Fairy basslets are small reef fish also known as “royal grammas.” They live in nests that they make themselves out of coral, algae, sea urchin spines, and sponges. The female lays eggs in the nest, and the male guards the nest from intruders.
Sea hares also live in sheltered habitats, among seagrass beds or on sand and mud. Some are even known to burrow in soft sediments.
